How to Measure Yourself for a Custom Order Jacket or Corset

To ensure the perfect fit for your custom leather jacket or corset, accurate measurements are essential. Follow these guidelines to measure yourself correctly.

Measurements for a Custom Jacket

  1. Chest/Bust

    • Measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust, keeping the tape measure level under your armpits and across your shoulder blades.

  2. Waist

    • Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above your belly button.

  3. Hips

    • Measure around the fullest part of your hips, ensuring the tape measure is level across your buttocks.

  4. Shoulder Width

    • Measure from the tip of one shoulder, across the back of your neck, to the tip of the other shoulder.

  5. Sleeve Length

    • With your arm slightly bent, measure from the tip of your shoulder, down the outside of your arm, to your wrist.

Measurements for a Custom Corset

  1. Bust

    • Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure level and snug.

  2. Waist

    • Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso.
